Please allow me to share my experience of meeting Hans and the Tera Mai Reiki initiation. Please excuse my English as English is my second language.

I am in residing in Malaysia and attached in a private company as a Financial Manager. I am a Usui Shiki Rhoyo and Seichim Reiki Master prior to Hans' attunement.

Deep inside me I always wanted to become Tera Mai Reiki Master as I was initiated in 1st & 2nd degree - Tera Mai Reiki by my local Master in 1999. Unfortunately, I could not continue further because my local Master is no more available.

I put my thoughts and searched for a suitable Master. It took me four years with the help of the divine intuition, I found Hans from nowhere in the internet. I must say, I am absolutely delighted to find him because of his:

* Deep and broad knowledge in Reiki
* Humbleness and willingness to help me
* Promptness in reply me
* Fees are very reasonable compare to others
* Powerful, spiritual attunements

I am very grateful to Hans for initiating me on all levels of Tera Mai Reiki. My experiences during the attunement on all the levels are very fascinating. Especially, the Tera Mai Reiki Master attunement is worth mentioning here.

It was February 7th at 0400 (my time) Hans started the attunement. After few minutes 0400 I felt like a current surging through my root chakra to the crown chakra. At the same time automatically my body (spinal cord, neck and head) straightened up by itself. I could not explain why and what is happening to me. I felt like someone mighty is stretching me to the maximum. Then my entire body tremors intensively. All these last for a few seconds only, I wish it was longer because the experience was beyond wonderful.

After the attunement I found my healing is improving day-by-day. Now, I am doing healing with confident and able to handle any situation more professionally.

How I came to Reiki

Back in November 2003 I signed up for a Traditional Reiki course which was to be held in the village where I live near Barcelona (Spain). I had only a vague idea of what Reiki was, but strongly felt that it was something I wanted to learn more about. However, I had decided not to read up about the subject as I wanted to do the course without any preconceived ideas. The day before the course I was told that it had been cancelled as there weren’t enough people (only 3 of us instead of the 6 required by the teacher).

I felt very frustrated and decided to find out more about Reiki and whether someone else in Barcelona could teach me. This is how I came to Hans’ website and wrote to him to find out more. I wasn’t sure whether to go ahead with Tera Mai Reiki with Hans on a one-to-one basis or wait and do the Usui course, which may of course have been cancelled yet again! Hans told me to follow my intuition which, after a few more conversations with friends, I did and received my Reiki I attunement in December.

My experiences so far

During the first session I had with Hans before attunement I felt very relaxed and had sensations of weight especially in my hands. That week I felt really energized – as if someone had supercharged my batteries! During the attunement I had the same feelings of heaviness and some visions of colours, but it was a subtle experience rather than a dazzling one.

My first surprise came the next morning when I was lying in bed with my husband. My hand was resting on his chest and suddenly I could feel swirling sensations in my palm! I hadn’t even been thinking about Reiki!

That day I started to practise on my husband and small daughter and they both said it felt great. My husband frequently asks me for treatment and it’s great to get the feedback from him after the sessions. I’ve also been practising with friends and so far everyone has enjoyed the experience and some are coming back for more on a regular basis!

Intuition

In January I had the opportunity to meet the Reiki Master I would have done the level 1 with had it not been cancelled. I am sure that she is an excellent teacher and have nothing but respect for her, but I knew immediately that I had made the right decision in taking the course with Hans. So I’m very grateful to Hans for telling me to follow my intuition and now I’m much more aware of how important that is. So simple, but so effective!

They say that with Reiki we develop greater awareness and intuition and I feel this to be true. But this is just the beginning and I’m hoping to learn more and more as I practise more and acquire more knowledge. I’m looking forward to sharing Reiki with other people – it’s such a great way to spread the well-being that so many people seem to be searching for - and also doing level 2 maybe later this year!

So if you’re considering getting into Reiki I can only say – follow your intuition, you can’t go wrong!

I have done the first and second level course of Tera Mai Reiki and will soon do the third-master level. The first level initiation was very interesting. I felt all my body tremble and experienced a sensation of growing, afterwards I lied down and continued to experience a sensation of floating. This all made me feel very well and happy. The second level initiation was a most charming experience. After the beginning I stayed with hands in prayer position, and I felt my hands tingling tremendously. This slowly vanished while I felt a bit 'dizzy' in the head in a state between sleeping and awake in which I was consciously aware. I had a sensation of going out of my body, I think I fell asleep, after almost an hour I woke up and I stayed the rest of day with sleepiness and feelings of great peace.

I will do the Tera Mai Reiki Master course soon because although I am already a Master in the Traditional System Usui, I am enchanted with the Tera Mai Reiki system and am wishing to spread this wonderful system in my country.

My experience with Reiki level 1 with Hans:

When the initiation started, I felt an energy in my 7th and 6th chakra, afterwards I could feel it going up my spine and after a couple of minutes it was above me imprinted in my aura from my head til my feet. My hands and feet were tingling, I experienced a nauseous feeling, after that I felt my second chakra, it was burning when I exhaled. I could see the plane of a house and I think that when the initiation was finishing I could see a blue color and red lines a couple of times.

Now, when I practice the Microcosmic Orbit I feel that my chakras can open much more, and at the end when I let the energy spin around my navel I can really feel it; before I only visualized it, but now I can feel it as. Today, certain traumas of the past have come up and I have allowed these to be healed. When I practice Reiki I feel a subtle energy in my chakras that activates them, especially in my seventh chakra, it expands much more than before.

When I discovered about Reiki, and I believe I discovered it by intuition or guided to it, I decided to obtain as much information about it as possible. This involved reading information in numerous web pages as well as buying several books. When I decided that Reiki was something worth learning and practicing I decided to start my search for a Reiki Master in Barcelona. I used the internet and found a few Reiki Masters. vI found Hans Web Site and it was very informative and reassuring. I decided to call him and obtain more information about his training. From the first moment his attitude was very friendly and open and I perceived a sense of security and trust. My only doubts were about Tera Mai Reiki and what made it different from traditional Reiki. After finding more information about the different Reiki systems I realized that Tera Mai Reiki had more to offer and had evolved from the traditional Reiki, I had nothing to loose instead I obtained more.

The first attunement was like a life changing experience, the sensations I felt during the initiation and specially the minutes that followed where of peace, self realization, incredible energy rushes, visions, altered states of consciousness and trance like situations. It had definitely worked and the attunement was passed with greater sensations, emotions and feelings than I originally expected. For the remaining of the afternoon I felt joy and peace and the inner feeling that something good for my personal spiritual growth had been done. That night and consecutive nights I had vivid dreams that seemed to bring up subjects that emotionally affected me, I felt that those emotional and mental issues had been unburied for me to dealt with in order to heal myself preparing me to be a Reiki channel.

At present I have already been attuned and obtained Tera Mai Reiki level II with Hans, which has definitively increased my energy flow and channeling capabilities. I have full trust in Hans as a Master and Teacher and I am looking forward to obtain Reiki III in the near future.

Before I did Reiki, I sometimes had a quite hard time as I dug my nose deep into atomic physics, epistemology, cybenetics, cosmos, reality and so on and often felt just like "flying away". The first Reiki distance session was very relaxing and a good experience. When I got then the Reiki manual for Reiki I and learned the grounding exercise I didn't "fly away" any more but fluw away with my thoughts and was still rooted into earth. I do corporal mime and martial arts and Reiki helps so much to recharge, let go of tension and healing small pain you sometimes get from training. But there is much more to do with Reiki. You can be so creative, follow your intention and discover amazing things. And Hans is a really good master. I mean, I am very pleased that I learned Reiki from him as he gave space for my individual development and he was/is always there when I have any concerns or questions. I felt his warm heart beating. Thank you Hans.

I have now completed the Tera Mai Mastership training with Hans and have had wonderful results! I am far more intuitive and have more energy coming through me now than ever before! Everyone that I have sent Reiki sessions to have felt fantastic after and I have had some great results! It is so wonderful... I am looking forward to Teaching this loving system of healing! I have completed Reiki II with Hans. One thing I have noticed is that the opportunity to use these skills have presented themselves into my life. My grandson was recently born with a problem digesting his food. The doctors were advising operations. While I held him, I prayed over him and used the Reiki symbols. He began to keep milk down with very little coming up. As the week went on, he began gaining weight. I have for several months performed Reiki at a distance....... thinking of him. He is able to keep food down, digest it and not need any operations.

I have found that friends who have pain seem to now tell me and ask if Reiki will help. My answer is always the same. Reiki is sharing of life energy in love............. I don't think it can hurt.

It is my hope to continue to develop in Reiki. Hans has been an excellent guide. I would recommend to anyone wishing to know more of this natural use of energy and love, learn with Hans.
