Her work together with Dr. Mehmet Oz in the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York during heart surgeries was reported on the cover of Time Magazine in 1995. She describes the possibilities of the use of Reiki with hospital patients, and also explains the difficulties in the acceptation of a holistic healing therapy like Reiki by modern medical doctors. The experiences detailed in this book show that it is possible to combine modern medicine with holistic healing methods.
